The success of this project is the achievement of a conversion which has grown out of the existing character of the two buildings, rather than imposing a new one upon them. The resulting house supports modern living simply and calmly, without uneccesarily imposing modern forms, materials or constructions. The modern surfaces and finishes fuse into an organic whole with the pre-existing fabric of the barns.
